Rossmoor Open House Blitz – happening 1/24!
Almost 20 homes are open on Sunday 1/24 from 1-4. Hosted by agents from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices in Walnut Creek (Tice Valley – Rossmoor office) and others, this promises to be a great day to find the right Rossmoor open house and home for sale. Rossmoor has two golf courses — Creekside and Dollar Ranch — providing 27 holes of NCGA-rated golf. The courses meander throughout the community and are one of Rossmoor’s most attractive amenities.
Rossmoor’s golf services also include practice facilities:
- a 10-station driving range
- three practice greens
- a pitch and sand shot area
Resident and guest green fees are moderate. Guests must
be accompanied by a resident for morning tee times. Residents can make a tee time for their guests to play unaccompanied in the afternoons. Weekend and weekday tee times can be made seven days in advance. Tee times must be reserved by a Rossmoor Resident.
From condos and coops to detached and multi-story living, there’s something for everyone in Rossmoor.

Forty percent of the homes are garden-style duplexes to four-plexes, and the remaining are either mid-to-high-rise, and one area of 63 individual single-family homes. Homes vary in price from low $200,000–plus for some cooperatives, from $400,000 to $800,000 for condos, to $1 million and up for single-family homes and garden style condominiums. At least one resident must be 55 years of age or older to live in a home in Rossmoor. The average age is 77.
Residents of Rossmoor need to be able to live independently. On-site skilled-nursing facilities are not available. Rossmoor does, however, have congregate housing in a 300-unit condominium facility called The Waterford where residents receive meal, housekeeping, recreational and other on-site services.
