Walnut Creek Schools | Concord Schools | Contra Costa Schools
Our Central Contra Costa area has some wonderful schools, though it is important to understand the difference in the school districts serving each particular area. For instance, Walnut Creek has three different school districts serving the city. Students in Walnut Creek (depending on their address) may attend school in a different city including Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Concord, Alamo or Pleasant Hill. Alamo also has some addresses zoned to Walnut Creek schools. Concord too, has its own nuances. While students in one neighborhood may attend a high school in Walnut Creek, the next neighborhood may be attending a Concord High School.
Be sure you engage a REALTOR who understands the local school systems. Contra Costa Schools are known to be good, the largest district by far serving over 32,000 students in our Walnut Creek, Concord, Pleasant Hill, Clayton and Martinez community is the Mt. Diablo School District. Contra Costa also has many highly respected Private Schools. Below is a list of other school districts serving our areas and other resources to find out more about local Walnut Creek area schools and get school scores.
