Free help for local Bay Area Wells Fargo and Wachovia borrowers

well fargo homeowner help logoDo you have a Wells Fargo or Wachovia loan?  Need some help or want to explore what help might be available?  Well you’re in luck.  Thursday March 8th Wells Fargo will be back hosting a Home Preservation Workshop in Richmond, at Craneway Pavilion from 9am – 7pm.  They are hosting this workshop for borrowers experiencing hardship, late on their payments, or expect their situation may cause them to start missing payments.  Some folks may find they are eligible for a refinancing, or a loan modification. You may also be directed to the Wells Fargo short sale program, and you can use much of the same documentation they request to start their process as well.

You can register online at Wells Fargo’s Leading the Way Home (see brochure) or walk-in’s are welcome.  Please also check out the document checklist at the Wells Fargo link as it will be very important to be as prepared as possible.

Here’s our local ABC Channel 7 coverage on the event.  Good luck!
